DO I HAVE TO OWN ANY PARTICULAR DOCUMENTS?

Yes:  your Patient Identification Card (PIC).

The Patient Identification Card is given to you by the Neurosurgeon during your stay in the hospital. You should carry your PIC with you at all times, as it provides information concerning the implanted device (reference, pressure setting, …) which is important and necessary for your medical follow-up.
